Abstract
The seal collection of the Dragomirna Monastery is made of 253 items which belonged to parishes from Bukovina as well as to the Consistory of Bukovina and to other public institutions from Chernivtsi. The seals preserved the symbols of ancestors and make a historical source which illustrates the role of the Orthodox Church in 18th-century Bukovina along with its aspirations and social-political worries.
