Abstract
In the following text, we describe two manuscripts produced by Moldavian scriptoria in the 15th, respectively the 16th centuries. Although previously hidden from the eyes of researchers because they are part of a private collection, now these two sources of information are accessible through the following study. The manuscripts provide information about some Romanian ruling families, boyars or simple inhabitants of Moldavia. The artistic decoration that adorns the texts and the route these manuscripts followed from one owner to the other are also of interest to researchers.
