Abstract
The present paper presents information from a novel archive which belonged to the Putna hieromonk and sacristan Laurentius Kirilescu (1777–1832). The main body consists of a journal containing information about the years 1802–1826. The other documents are various letters, records, reports, registers, notes etc. which reflect the life of the Putna Monastery in the first three decades of the 19th century.
The data shed light especially on the relations of Putna with the surrounding world as well as on the patrimony of the monastery.
