Abstract

The Gospel Book commissioned by Stephen the Great and offered by Bogdan III to the church of the Princely Courts from Hârlău on 4 November 1504 reached Montenegro in 1732 and is now preserved in the History Museum from Cetinje. The author reviews its history and makes a detailed description of the current state of the manuscript, supplemented with photographs.
